Tony started his career at Bank of Montreal, Canada as International Banking Officer for Latin American Division in 1979, then got consecutive promotions as Account Manager at Bank of Montreal (Brazil) in 1981, and as Senior Account Manager, Corporate and Government Banking, and finally as Manager and Trade Finance both at Bank of Montreal (Canada) in 1985 to 1989. After that, Tony moved and served as Vice President Corporate Finance at Credit Lyonnais (Canada) until 1993. In 1994, Tony moved to Indonesia and served as Deputy General Manager/ Marketing Director at Bank Credit Lyonnais, Indonesia until 1998, before moving to Citibank NA (Indonesia) in the same year. During his time at Citibank Indonesia in 1998, Tony served consecutively as Debt Restructuring Unit Head until 2000 and Corporate Bank Head until 2002. Furthermore, in 2003, Tony continued his career as President Director at PT Bank Rabobank Internasional until 2009. Then, in 2010, he moved to PT Bank Commonwealth with the same position as President Director until 2016. After no longer serving as President Director at PT Bank Commonwealth, Tony held the position of Independent Commissioner at PT Lautan Luas Tbk until 2020 and also as Senior Advisor at Gunung Sewu Kencana until March 2023. Tony holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration, both from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
